Barnyard is designed to teach young children their directions. The goal of the game is to sort animals in the correct pen as fast as you can. Teachers are able to customize the game to teach cardinal, clock, or relative directions. Barnyard offers 3 modes: swipe, drag, and location.
Development : Created the core loop of the game. Code needed to be dynamic enough to allow various configurations of game modes. Creating a dynamic UI suitable for Android and IOS. I was also responsible for creating a configurable set of variables to pass into the game. These variables are what teachers configure on the Objective Ed website to create customized game modes.
Game Design : Creating a system that will automatically make the difficulty harder depending on the player performance.
Art and Animation : I created and animated the animal assets. Other assets were purchased. I implemented all art assets, VFXs, and sounds.
